Full Senate Service Project:

Blood and Platelet drive in the UTHSC leather lounge for MD Anderson, to benefit Amanda Myers, MS III.  This is planned for Nov 27th in the leather lounge; to be organized by the 1st and 2nd year social chairs.  Brad Walker has volunteered to lead the organization of this endeavor with Peter, Chris, Marion and Chad Taylor.

Email Guidelines:

We have decided that only general student organizations (AMA/TMA etc) should have access to the entire student body.  Specialty organizations (SSA, PSA, etc) should establish listserves for their members only.  Also, those students who retain email access will participate in a training session, so that they can be better advised as to the type and quantity of emails to be sent.

Class reports:
-1st years:  block 2 exams with a halloween themed block party to follow

-2nd years:  Finished first round of exams.  Met with Resa Ott.  Hosted a halloween party.  Want to further discuss better Step 1 prep course

-3rd years:  Want to host a student/faculty social event.  Want to have happy hours for the class once a month.  Met with Resa Ott.  Working on organizing a RESULTS lunch with Dr. Schultz and the RESULTS student rep from Washington DC on November 7th with representatives from each class
