SCAIP CASES Until the 2002-2003 school year, FCM required that tests be returned at the end of the exam session and that there be no copies of the old tests available for review. Despite this, a couple of students obtained copies of old FCM exams from friends in the class before them to study for the first block exam. The students were unaware of the FCM testing rules and did not feel that they had done anything wrong. SCAIP called a jury of MS III and MS IV students who decided that a recommendation should be made to the FCM course director to allow access to old tests to all students. The situation was also brought to the attention of the Dean, Dr. Buja, who discussed the problem with the course director. This recommendation was accepted, after which copies of old tests were placed in the LRC and students were allow to pick old exams after they had been graded. |
