Sample Repository on Mood Disorders
The Sample Repository on Mood Disorders will act as an “add-on” to the neuroimaging studies that are being conducted at the UT Center of Excellence on Mood Disorders. Researchers at the center will analyze blood levels of participants who qualify for the imaging studies in search of biochemical and genetic abnormalities. The results of the blood analysis will be compared to the imaging results from the other studies, which may help physicians and researchers understand the biological conditions that are associated with bipolar disorder.
