  Application to UTGME Programs

All PGY 1 and PGY 2 level residency appointments are made through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) or the San Francisco Matching Program (SFMatch). Some of the subspecialties, however, use alternative application processes.

Below are listings that indicate the method of application for various specialties and subspecialities along with Internet links to application instructions. Application deadlines are noted in the individual UTGME program descriptions.

Step 1: Carefully review the following policies as applicable

Appointments to these programs are made via the NRMP Main Residency Match or the NRMP Specialty Matches. For complete details on requirements and the application process visit the Electronic Residency Application Service or contact your medical school dean's office.
