The medical school currently uses Blackboard 9.1 as its learning management system. Most of our courses have a presence on Blackboard and several courses use it extensively. There are many ways to engage learners using Blackboard. The Office of Educational Programs offers group training, as well as one-on-one training, for faculty and staff in the medical school. We train users in the nuts and bolts of Blackboard. We also provide instructional design training, and multimedia training for those who would like to add dynamic, interactive components to their courses.
