Artist: Koressa Gregory

Koressa Gregory (Department of Surgery) is a native Texan who took her first “out of the country” trips this past November 2008. She took part in a Pilgrimage through Spain and Portugal to visit historical cathedrals. These pictures were taken during her pilgrimage which included visits to Madrid, Toledo, Salamanca, Fatima and Lisbon, Portugal. Her inspiration was the simplicity in the places she visited and the people who lived this ‘simplistic’ life. To her, the individuals depicted in these pictures symbolized life at its best ~ where there are no cell phones, no blackberry’s, no email, no deadlines and no schedules. How more simplistic…
